Question:
What's so special about the TRANSFORM exercise routine?
Answer:
It incorporates a number of vital concepts and integrates
them into a 17 week routine. The first four weeks I've
named the Four Week "Scramble" because the
exercise regimen is extremely unconventional. You
begin with only aerobic movement and begin to integrate
resistance training using "core" movements with
dumbbells. Every muscle is activated, including the
balancing, neutralizing, and stabilizing muscles. Sets
of 20 reps are strategically integrated with heavier sets to
involve ALL muscle fibers. At the end of the Four
weeks you will absolutely notice metabolic
improvement. You then begin two weeks of Strength and
Growth training where the focus is on stimulating the
"fast twitch" muscle fiber, the muscle fiber most apt to
grow. Six basic workouts over two weeks will bring
surprising strength gains. The program then progresses
into a split routine where you target different muscles on
different days in combinations of isolation and compound
movements. As the slower twitch fibers become more
involved. Muscle begins to shape and increase in
visibility adding to great "tone." In Weeks
#12-16, the resistance workouts are short and intense,
utilizing supersets, designed to generate the greatest
caloric burn in the shortest time period. Combined
with a nutritional strategy that amplifies the rate of fat
release, these four weeks are aptly termed, "the Fat
Liberation Phase." In Week #17 you basically do
what you feel like doing. You mentally and physically
allow your body to prepare for the next Strength &
Growth Phase. By alternating the various phases in a
"cycle training" format, you prevent yourself from
ever hitting a "plateau" and keep gains ongoing
and consistent.
QUESTION:
This sounds advanced. Is it for me if I am not very
experienced in exercise.
It
took me a long time to refine my 17-Week Program before I
felt comfortable distributing it to the masses. It is
now so simple, and so understandable, that I guarantee
anyone can follow it. If you are in fact advanced, the
368-Page book will give you answers to virtually every
question. If you're not quite that far along, you'll
use video and audio tapes to guide you, and while you might
not come to understand all of the underlying concepts,
you'll benefit from them. I've designed the program so
it applies itself to your individual needs.

well as people who have been senior citizens for 20+

QUESTION:
Should I get the book or the complete package?
I
encourage everyone to get the complete package. I
created it to make application simple. There are 368
pages in the book, and even if you read it cover to cover,
you might not retain "everything" you read.
The video tapes lay an exceptional foundation of
understanding. After you watch the Video Seminar, you
completely understand, in concept, what you have to
do. The program is then designed so that I show up
every week or so in your tape deck, coaching you with JUST
the vital information you need specific to that week or that
segment of the program. The book acts as a phenomenal
reference as you progress through the weeks and
phases. The TRANSFORM! journal that comes with the
complete program is a fantastic tool in that it allows you
to record your workouts, your eating, and your thoughts, so
you essentially create a personalized "map"
spelling out the details of your personal
transformation. When my trainers counsel people who
are on "the program," the journal becomes an even
greater aid. They can immediately identify obstacles
and offer modifications. The program also comes with
the EAT! recipe book. While the TRANSFORM book is very
complete in delivering nutritional concepts, EAT! allows you
to turn those concepts into real food that you can find in
the real world. I'll conclude by mentioning that every
time, without exception, somebody calls with questions

Is there any time someone should just get the book?
ANSWER:
The book was actually written for people who already
have a working knowledge of foundational sports nutrition
and exercise. I wrote the book targeting those
individuals who exercise near daily in health clubs, but are
making little mistakes that cripple their potential for
progress. If the program is not affordable, and you do
have a foundational knowledge of eating and training, the
book might serve you well.
QUESTION:
How can the same program work for everyone?
As
human beings we are all essentially the same in the way our
bodies handle nutrients and specific stimuli.
TRANSFORM! empowers people by helping them understand how to
take control of metabolism, how to release fat, how to burn
fat as fuel, how to support muscle, how to increase bone
density, etc. As you go through the program, you come
to understand how to re-shape your body virtually any way
you want to. The education allows you to act as a
sculptor with your body as the clay. It takes all the
confusion out of taking control of your body, and with the
knowledge to facilitate positive change, there are no limits
to what you can achieve.
